As I told J.S., my hesitation regarding ecopoetics is more about labeling
than it is about a disagreement with ecopoetics, per se.
I wouldn't want to be part of any label that would have me. And
there's also the
fear that I lack the necessary ideological purity that being part
of a "movement" would require.
