rewriting landscape.

Jacob Eichert

from Weather System

weather on the page where shadows are pronounced in heavy dew
pitch and intensity compounded along surface
                                                                                               distilling contents

sounds of waves consisting of waves
voice builds garment out of structures
tunneling larynx to teeth                                                          longitudinal breadth

in the open to demand inhalation
then fall into the trajectory of our perimeter

the wave is really a lip
            a moon
                        ellipse along roofs
                                                            changing in shape and volume

inspiration                                                                                          expiration

            over the plain sunlight
                                                air-stream constricted to produce fiction

                        maps of phonemes disappear

            miniatures sown into the orbit

this distinction made between the tip and the back of the tongue
